Besides having some of my photos on the MHCC Integrated Media website, I now have a link to this very blog. Make sure to check it out.

How To Market Myself
2 12 2008Right now I’m really pushing myself to come up with my whole professional photography concept of who and how I want to be seen to potential clients. The work I have been doing in the classes this term has really helped me visualize my overall career plan. I won’t go into all the details in this post but I have come up with a very workable marketing image that involves certain colors for business cards and letter heads all the way to an idea about a viable workspace.
This is where I need a little help (suggestions or whatever) about a good tag line that would be integrated in all my e-mails, letterheads, business cards, mailers and what not. Below is a list of what I have been thinking could work.
- Photos in the age of design.
- An image beyond belief.
- Images beyond belief.
- Photos times the design.
- Designer of photos in the modern world.
- Photos to get lost in.
- Images that make you believe.
- Photos that demand action.
- Photos with innovative design.
- Images with innovative design.
- Photography with innovative design.
- Forward looking.
- Sustainable Images.
- Sustainable Imagery.
Here is a list of some that I have found that are currently being used by Photographers.

30 10 2008mus-mus.org is doing an interesting global project this Tuesday. 100 photographers from all over the globe will be taking a photo at the same time, (literally at the same time, check here) and then submitting them to the mus-mus salon. It’s not clear (according) to the mus-mus site who this group is but it sure sounds like a interesting project and might be worth checking out either as a participant, (they are still looking for more photographers) or just following up on how the project went.
I warn you the website is not the most easy to navigate and it’s sort of a chore to figure out what the whole project is about, but that’s art, man. It’s woth a look and it could turnout to be a cool global collabration.
